The road not taken Question Answers

The Road not taken

The poem 'The Road Not Taken' by the American poet Robert Frost was first published in 1916 in a collection entitled 'Mountain Interval'. It is about the journey of life and contains a deep, hidden meaning. It is about decisions people make during their lives and the doubts they have after making the decisions; whether it was right or not. A traveler is passing through a forest in autumn season. He comes to a point where the road is divided into two. He has to choose one. Thus the poem depicts the problem making a right choice in life. We have to choose between an off-beaten path and a path chosen by many people.
