days of the week, months and festivals.

Example: Radha, Akash, Mt Everest, Delhi, Yamuna, Jerry, Bible, Sunday. May, Diwali Concrete Nouns-common nouns that are names of any thing or any person that can be seen or felt by any of our senses.

Example: lions, books, policeman, theatre, park • Abstract Nouns-names that refer to relationships, qualities, ideas, theories, feelings, states of being, etc.

 

Example: friendship, intelligence, courage, love, silence, strength • Collective Nouns-special names for a collection of persons or things of the same kind. Example: a school of fish, a fleet of ships, a flock of sheep, a pack of cards.
