DEFINITION:
A word which is used before a noun or pronoun to tell relation with other words is called preposition,



                                                       USE OF "AT"

• It is used before smaller places.

         for ex: He lives at pakka katra.(pakka katra is a street name)

• To describe aim:

          He laughed at his friend.
          The teacher shouted at her student.
           She looked at her clock.
   

•   At is used before time

         He will reach at 5 o'clock.
         She came at 6 P.M.
       

•  At is used before time describing words.

        At dawn                           At night
        At noon                           At mid night
        At twilight                       At dusk
      At day break                      At afternoon

•  At is used to describe rate:

               He bought that book at 500 rs.
               He sells potatoes at 20 rs per kg.

• At is used to describe age or stage.:

             Sohan's grandmother died at the age of 85.
